13 augustus 1668. Gehoort sijnde het rapport van de Heeren Commissarissen hebbende in voldoening van de resolutie van den 11ⁿ deser nagesien en geexamineert het verbaal gehouden van het gepasseerde en toedracht van saacken in Corea geduerende de aanhoudinge en gevanckenisse van die daer jongst vandaan gekomen sijn, vervattende met eenen de constitutie van het lant aldaar, en de handel die daar soude cunnen vallen, waar op sijnde gedelibereert, is goetgevonden en verstaan dat de Generaal en de Raden sal werden aangeschreven dat men hier niet vreemt daar van soude wesen dat, door een besendinge derwaerts te doen, onderstaan wierd off men daar tot den handel soude cunnen werden geadmitteert, verstaande soo den Generaal en de Raden geen andere consideratien daar tegen mochten hebben. Noch is geresolveert dat men de voorsz. 1uijden, sijnde seven in getale, uijt commiseratie tot een gratuiteijt sal doen hebben een somme van vijfthien hondert en dertigh guldens, te verdeelen als volgt:

Resolutions Heeren XVII (Colonial Archives no. 255)

August 13, 1668. Heard having the report of the Lords Commissioners, having with satisfaction seen the resolution of the 11th of this month and examined the verbal report kept of that what passed and the circumstances of the affairs of the arrest and imprisonment of those who have returned recently from there, containing a constitution of the country thither, and the trade which might have fallen there, whereupon having deliberated, is approved and understood that the General and the Counsels will be summoned that one wouldn't be surprised that by sending a shipment thither, supporting if one could be admitted for the trade there, understanding that, as long as the General and the Counsels don't have any objections against it. Also is decided that one grants, the before mentioned persons being seven in number, by order a gratuity a sum of fifteen hundred and thirty guilder, to be divided as follows:
